Our Worship Ministry Team meets each week for preparation. Any believer in Christ who worships "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23) is welcome to be part of the Worship Ministry Team. For more information you can contact the church at email@example.com.
Worship and Praise is a priority at Community Baptist Church. Worship is reserved for God alone (Luke 4:8). Worship is the art of willingly giving up the most important thing in your life, and even your life, for the one which you worship (Genesis 22:5). To truly worship God, we must let go of our self-worship. We must be willing to humble ourselves before God, surrender every part of our lives to His control, and adore Him for who He is, not just what He has done. Worship is a lifestyle, not just an occasional activity. Jesus said the Father is seeking those who will worship Him "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23).
Praise is a part of how we worship God. We praise the One who is "worthy to be praised" (Psalm 18:3). Psalm 150:1-6 is the last Psalm and sums up praise:
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary and in His mighty firmament! (Everywhere)
Praise Him for His mighty acts and according to His excellent greatness! (For everything)
Praise Him with trumpets, lutes, harps, timbrel, dance, strings, flutes, and cymbals. (With everything)
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. (All living things)
Praise the Lord!
God will be worshipped and praised! (Luke 19:40) May the inward worship of our hearts be heard and seen through our outward praise.
Our Worship Ministry Team meets each week on Wednesday at 5:30pm for preparation. For more information you can contact the church at firstname.lastname@example.org.
